Restoration

First everything disassembled…. I found rear shocks from the Corvette C3 with air support… Americans just take what's lying around on THEIR shelves…if the car came from France, one of the previous owners would probably have installed DS shocks…

Leaf spring:

Disassembled, derusted with a wire brush and treated with „leaf spring grease“ from Forch…looks like new again….Let's see how it rides… New sliders came from the spitfire-club.nl store…

Finally wrapped with Mike Sanders grease tape…that keeps dust off…

As the original steel rims with American hub caps are not really pretty and certainly not light, I was lucky enough to find a set of Wolfrace Slot Mag in 5.5×13„ including hub cover and screw set….. I'm currently trapped in the cellar:
