First everything disassembled....
I found rear shocks from the Corvette C3 with air support...8-O
Americans just take what's lying around on THEIR shelves...if the car came from France, one of the previous owners would probably have installed DS shocks...

==== Leaf spring: ====

Disassembled, derusted with a wire brush and treated with "leaf spring grease" from Forch...looks like new again....Let's see how it rides...
New sliders came from the spitfire-club.nl store...\\

Finally wrapped with Mike Sanders grease tape...that keeps dust off...

As the original steel rims with American hub caps are not really pretty and certainly not light, I was lucky enough to find a set of Wolfrace Slot Mag in 5.5x13" including hub cover and screw set..... I'm currently trapped in the cellar:
